Both my storyboard and poster are connected since they both
the same genre of teen horror. This is shown since they both include a picture
of the same teenage girl with her mouth stitched in a horrific way. She is
directly addressing the audience by looking into the camera/audience, which
will draw in the primary audience to watch the film. The primary target
audience for the poster and storyboard are also similar of an older teenage
audience to late twenties as they both have a scary era about them, which wouldn’t
appeal a younger audience.
The poster
will be put on billboards, buses and around in local places where young adults
will be such as outside nightclubs luring them in to watch the film. The
trailer would be shown on TV and on social media. These will advertise and
promote the film to persuade people want to watch it.
I have
chosen Lionsgate to be my film institution as it has already produced many
successful teen/horror films, which implies that mine may also be.
By
following similar layout conventions they entice the target audiences for
example they both include the same title.
I think both products are very
effective so I wouldn’t change anything.
